First, we'll chat about all the things that we normally ingest without really really thinking about the consequences. Caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, prescription and over the counter medications all act as toxins in the body. They're foreign substances that don't really help your body in the healing process or in the process of growth and regeneration.
The things we usually end up not ingesting enough of are adequate amounts of water to flush out any built up toxins (we'll have an entire post or two about that later) and proper amounts of good, nutritious, unprocessed foods. Even our snacks mostly end up packed as snack sized or "to-go." Whatever happened to grabbing an apple, banana, or a handful of nuts!
Unless we start really looking at what we ingest on a regular basis at its chemical level, we can't ever truly reach a system that is able to function optimally. Now I'll add my disclaimer here again. I completely 100% believe in living life. Now while I don't eat fast food, I do have my occasion candy bar or soda (very rarely), or cup of coffee. In fact, I really don't think I function without my morning tea. If you're going to do some of the things in the top paragraph, just make sure to add in a lot more of the water and good diet to help flush out any of the bad stuff okay? Don't deprive yourself of life! ;)
Making sure your atlas is in proper position so that your nervous system can work as balanced as possible is also key to helping your body flush out all the bad stuff too!
